Monday 12th - 16th March - Science Week

We have had a really exciting Science Week this week. We had some fantastic visitors from a variety of scientific and technological backgrounds. We have had two Science teachers from Denbigh school, two STEM
ambassadors and also we were lucky enough to have 6 Y12 students from Denbigh to help us out with our CHPS Egg Drop Challenge. Thank you to the children and staff for their enthusiasm.

Tuesday 27th February -  Murrey class learn about the properties of the states of matter and how they can be changed by heating or cooling.

Friday 2nd February - This week, Mayer class worked in pairs to create a 4cm squared sculpture that would remain solid at 100 degrees centigrade. The successful sculpture entries will be launched into a sub-orbital space on board a rocket which is part of NASA telescope mission. Although all participants in Mayer class used their initiative to create an innovative design, Harley’s was chosen based on its durability and repeatability. Well done Mayer class and a particular well done to Harley!
